
The Ministerial Decision (50067/28/17) was published in Government Gazette 3952 B / 10-11-17 regarding the “Electronic database of registration of Security Technicians & the process of assigning the duties of Security Technician through OPS – SEPE.
This new Ministerial Decision briefly defines the dates on which the operation of the Integrated Information System of the Labor Inspection Body (OPS – SEPE) will begin, as well as the institutional framework that describes it.
First of all, the process of registering all Security Technicians in the system begins, as well as the registration of their identification data, in order to create an electronic database. This process will last 3 months from 1/12 / 2017-28 / 2/2018 and needs to be performed by the Security Technicians themselves. Then, in the second year, the electronic announcement of the Security Technicians through the system will start on a pilot basis, which will last from 1/3/2018 to 31/5/2018. During this period the announcement can be made and of course, just as it is done so far. From 1/6/2018 onwards, the assignment of Security Technician duties will be mandatory ONLY electronically.
